Abstract

Seven new records of Nitella are published from Murmansk Oblast (Russia) following recent revision of specimens deposited in KPABG and IBIW. The new records relate to N. flexilis (L.) C. Agardh, N. opaca (Bruz.) C. Agardh, or Nitella sp. ster. (flexilis vel opaca), and they are the first records for the south and south-east part of the region. A list of all records of Nitella species has been compiled together with a map. These species of Nitella do not seem to be rare in Murmansk Region, and the sparsity of their recorded distribution probably reflects insufficient local study of this group. New records of Nitella and other Charales are expected in the future, and these may provide significant insights into the ecology of charophytes in higher latitudes.

Introduction

Красные списки харовых водорослей некоторых европейских государств, включая страны Северной Европы, содержат около половины видового состава этой группы (Johansson et al, 2010; Koistinen, 2010; Sjøtun et al, 2010). Однако на данный момент в России оценка необходимости охраны отдельных видов харовых водорослей может быть реализована только в ряде регионов. Вых водорослей для территории СССР, вышли обобщающие работы по регионам Европейской части: Вологодская (Chemeris et al, 2011, 2013), Ивановская (Romanov, Shilov, 2014), Ленинградская (Zhakova, Balashova, 2001), Ленинградская (Zhakova, Balashova, 2001), Мурманская (Blinova, Koistinen, 2013), Нижегородская (Romanov et al, 2015), Псковская (Zhakova, Konechnaja, 2011), Челябинская (Veisberg, Isakova, 2010), Ярославская области (Chemeris et al, 2015), Республика Коми и Ненецкий автономный округ (Patova et al, 2014), Среднее (Papchenkov, 2001; Zhakova, Solovjeva, 2006) и Нижнее Поволжье (Klinkova et al, 2012; Klinkova, Zhakova, 2014), а также по Сибири и Дальнему Востоку: Приморский край (Kukharenko, 1989; Medvedeva, Nikulina, 2014), Республика Саха (Якутия) (Romanov et al, 2015; Romanov, Kopyrina, 2014) и Западная Сибирь (Iljin, 1984; Romanov, 2009; Romanov, Kipriyanova, 2009; Romanov, Nikolaenko, 2014; Safonova, 2003; Sviridenko et al, 2011; Sviridenko, Sviridenko, 2008; Volobayev, 1991).
