Abstract

The study deals with online maths courses developed for and presented to bachelor’s degree students majoring in technical fields through the Moodle e-learning platform. The research describes the platform capabilities for students and teachers. The course structure and the Moodle elements are considered. The introduction of mathematical expressions into the tests is specified as well. The e-learning kit devised makes it possible to intensify the educational process by providing the favorable environment for the differentiated and individualized learning and encouraging students to learn through a variety of forms and types of educational tasks. The components of the blended-learning technology in conjunction with the Moodle platform capabilities allow teachers to arrange effectively the self-directed learning process to prepare students for the perception of the in-class information and the consolidation of the knowledge acquired.
