Abstract

The data concerning the issues of diagnosing endometrial hyperplastic processes in terms of diagnostic accuracy, accessibility and minimal invasiveness are considered. The necessity of transition in most intrauterine interventions to Pipelle-biopsy instead of diagnostic curettage and hysteroscopy has been substantiated and confirmed. Pipelle biopsy is an effective, low-traumatic, affordable and cost-effective method. Particular attention is paid to the advantages and features of using various types of aspiration probes for Pipelle biopsy.
