Abstract

In this study, it is difficult to achieve smooth communication between experts and non-experts in the field of interior design, resulting in a number of problems and the need for improvement. Accordingly, this study is meaningful in conducting in-depth interviews with five interior space realistic content experts and six interior designers working on realistic content and presenting plans and strategies for use in the interior design field through open coding and SWOT-PEST analysis frames. Analysis results: First, smooth communication takes place by using virtual simulation to help with complex concepts and understanding. Second, build an online/offline convergence learning environment by converging information and communication technology and artificial intelligence technology. Third, government policies are needed to support the public sector, such as government ministries and private companies/organizations, and to grow industries and expand their base. Fourth, inconvenient aspects such as device weight and size, portability, and high market price must be improved. Fifth, a mid- to long-term roadmap for the industry must be established and a differentiated industry ecosystem must be created. Lastly, it is necessary to establish a professional talent training system through cooperation between industry, academia, and research institutes. This study synthesized in-depth interviews to analyze the status, necessity, and implications of realistic content utilization, sought future directions and strategies, and suggested the possibility of industrial growth and the development of a foundation.
