Abstract

This paper deals with trolling as network communicative strategy. Modern Russian and European conceptions and definitions of trolling are discussed. The idea of a troll as modern variation of trickster archetype is suggested. The idea of trolling as a continuation of carnivalesque and laughing culture is introduced.
