Abstract
In the article, the results of checking inbred and outbred sheep of the Kuibyshev meat and wool breed, which are semi-siblings, in terms of the quality of offspring, are considered. The assessment showed that under equal conditions of feeding and maintenance,inbred producers were more valuable in breeding terms.To determine the prepotency, a comparison of different methods of its assessment is given.
