Abstract

This scientific article is devoted on the theme of modality. The main goal of the article is the studying the state of the modality in linguistic turkology. In the field of linguistics and Turkology, as well as in general linguistics, the category of modality became the subject of special complex studies in the first half of the twentieth century. Linguistic facts and materials in accordance with the essence of theoretical issues related to the category of modality are considered as a factor in the relevance of our research. In linguistic Turkology, the category of modality can be included in the list of fundamental questions that have not been fully learned. Although many linguists and Türkologists have conducted deep research on the problem of modality, in general Türkology there is no consensus on the key issues of the category of modality.
