Abstract
The purpose of the study is to reveal the concept of "hybrid war", to identify the role of ideology in the modern information confrontation, to identify the main techniques of the Russophobic strategy of the "collective West": an attack on historical memory, the concept of double standards, information sabotage in the field of existential, exploitation of the covid-19 pandemic phenomenon. Suggest offensive measures in the fight against various variants of modern Russophobia. The scientific novelty lies in the proposed principles of the formation of state ideology for modern Russia, in the analysis of the cognitive aspect of the hybrid war of the United States and its allies against our country. As a result of the undertaken analysis, the principles of the formation of the state ideology are determined, the main techniques and methods of the information war of the West against Russia are revealed, methods of increasing the effectiveness in the fight against Russophobes of all stripes are proposed.
