Abstract
The purpose of the research is to analyze the technology of creating television programs and to identify the causesand consequences of the use of new genres, methods and techniques; consider the process of merging or replacing onegenres with others, the emergence of new genre formations, the creation of new television forms; explore the genreaspects of television products. The research methods. Together with the general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis,generalization), system analysis was used, which made it possible to characterize the integration of the latest technologies,genres and methods. The comparative method allowed us to characterize the problems of the emergence of the newestgenre formations, and the historical and cultural method – to reveal the main trends in the development of television indifferent historical and cultural contexts. The scientific novelty of the scientific paper consists in the author’s interpretationof the latest trends in the development of television art, differentiation of television genres, types and formats of TVbroadcasting, disclosure of an integrated selection of television programs, diffusion processes and hybridization of genres.Conclusions. Based on the consideration of the relationship between the development of television and the evolution ofgenres, the reasons that contributed to the rethinking of traditional genres and the emergence of new types of televisionprograms have been identified. It was found that due to the evolution of television genres, along with the diffusion anddifferentiation of genres, their merging is observed, and the blurring of genre boundaries leads not only to the emergenceof hybrid genre forms, but also to constant genre enrichment. Today, the genres of journalism (both television andnewspaper) are a comprehensive and developed system that is continuously being improved.
