Abstract

Recently, interest in Goryeo people who migrated from Central Asia has been increasing. From the end of the Joseon Dynasty, they moved to Primorsky Krai to survive in order to avoid famine and exploitation by bureaucrats, have Russian citizenship, and grow into a supporter of the anti-Japanese movement to seek their own independence They are Korean compatriots who have been forcibly relocated and settled in Central Asia according to Russia's national migration measures. Those who have migrated with Korean Dream in search of their parents or grandparents' homeland are in the blind spot of human rights amid nationality, immigration visa problems, language, economic activities, and socio-cultural difficulties.
This study revealed why they should be treated the same as our people and need support from the government and local governments, identified their lives and human rights difficulties in domestic life, and suggested ways to settle down as part of social integration as citizens and live without discrimination.
