Abstract
This study aims to diagnose the current state of the Korean exhibition industry in preparation for the with-corona and post-corona era and to propose a plan for the sustainable development of the exhibition industry and strengthening of global competitiveness by collecting industry opinions. It was conducted three times FGI(Focus Group Interview) from October 28, to November 2, 2021 for exhibition industry experts. It was intended to establish the tasks and roles of the Exhibition Industry in terms of the government(Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy), Association of Korean Exhibition Industry, each exhibition industry business group(Associations), and individual exhibition industry business operators. First, the government(Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy) should be to perform a role established an integrated network to respond to crises and develop standard manuals and Secondly, at the association of Korean Exhibition Industry, digital and intelligent technology exhibition utilization plan establishment and 8 more. Third, each exhibition industry business group should be play a role more. Fourthly, at the level of individual exhibitors, it is necessary to enhance the competitiveness of individual exhibitors and to expand the wage system and incentives in the poor exhibition industry.
