Abstract
Previous studies have been revealed LCORL gene influence on growth processes in man and in different animal species. It has determined the gene choice as candidate gene for studying its expression level in different breeds of chicken. This work task has been evaluation of LCORL gene transcription activity in chicken intestine depending on their genotype and breed variability. Analysis of this gene expression in chicken small intestine tissues has revealed the highest expression level in Pushkinskaya breed and the lowest level in Rod Ayland breed. The level of LCORL gene expression has been the largest in Pushkinskaya and Italian chicken breeds that are heterozygous in SNP (rs 15619223, A>С).
