Abstract
Anniversary publications are part of commemorative practices, they clearly implement all the well–known socio-cultural functions of anniversary events - preserving, unifying, self-identifying and representative. The article presents the results of a problematic historiographical study revealing the representative function of jubilee publications. The specifics of understanding the history and heritage studies of the Siberian branch of the Institute of Heritage are revealed in the monographs "Science of Culture ..." (Moscow, 2017, 2022) and "Cultural studies in Siberia ..." (Moscow, Omsk, 2023).
