Abstract

Research presents discussions related to discipline classification system for cabin management. Result of analyzing the classification system of the Korean National Competency Standards etc are as follows. Cabin management belongs to a large category of accommodation, travel etc /middle category of tourism, and leisure /the sub-category of travel services/ minimum category of airline cabin services. In knowledge-oriented classification system: transportation-oriented section-air transportation in the commercial / tourism management / airline service management. In the scientific and technological position: sub-category -airline and travel agency management / tourism. In the departmental classification: sub-class -tourism. In the position of the job, it is into aviation, train, ship, and service cabin crew. As a result, Cabin management belongs to social science(large category)-tourism(medium category)- tourism management /economics(sub-category)-Travel agency /Airline Service management.
