Abstract

The topic under consideration is devoted to the life of A. Baitursynov, who is intertwined with complex political periods of national history and all political events, thereby revealing political views and positions he holds in the state. He is a unique personality who occupied his place in the first half of the twentieth century. The main idea of the article is to consider the history of A. Baitursynov's life path as a person through political struggle and public service, despite the fact thatunder the Russian tsarist government he became a «politically unreliable» person, and the totalitariansystem under Soviet rule called Kazakh statesmen and intellectuals «right-wing», «nationalists», «rich»,«pan-Turkists», «opponents of the revolution», removed them from society and wanted to erase themfrom the pages of history considering them «enemies of the people».The issues raised in this study require not only a chronological presentation, but also a reflection of its main problems. Based on this, the study paid special attention to the following issues: - To analyze and review all the works and studies related to the public, political, state and scientificactivities of the figure, archival documents and other sources from the point of view of the requirements of modern times, as well as to evaluate his work; - Determining the influence of the environment of his upbringing on the formation of politicalviews; - By comparing the correlation of the place of education and educational activities among theRussian intelligentsia in the political struggle, to reveal the inner content and nature of the growth of its worldview, political views; - To determine the political propaganda struggle in society organized and carried out by thenewspaper «Kazakh».
