Abstract

The article considers essay of some ways of Taoist meditative exercises that played a significant role in the practices of the "inner elixir" (neidan). They were aimed at transforming the energy flows of the body, achieving altered states of consciousness in order to gain a perfect physical and spiritual state for the follower of Taoism. This content seems to be quite relevant due to the fact, that Taoist meditative exercises of ancient origin can also be used in the modern era of digital restructuring and information pressure as methods of mental self-regulation in order to relieve manifestations of emotional tension, harmonize and mobilize internal human resources.
