Abstract

Aim. Description of the possibilities and prospects for the use of cell therapy in aesthetic gynecology, as well as the likely mechanisms of the influence of adipocytes, stromal vascular and stem cells on the regenerative potential of tissues. Key points. Autologous biological medicines derived from adipose tissue are of great clinical interest as a rich source of stem and immunomodulatory cells due to their availability.Cellular technologies are an encouraging and promising direction in the field of regenerative medicine, in particular in gynecology in the treatment of premature ovarian failure, thin endometrium, vulvovaginal atrophy, lichen sclerosus of the vulva, correction of scar tissue and long-term non-healing ulcers. The article presents various methods of lipofilling currently in use, their advantages and possible complications. Conclusion. A review of the available data, combined with our own clinical experience, confirms the high effectiveness and safety of lipofilling for the treatment of a wide range of gynecological diseases. Autolipofilling appears to be a promising method, however, it requires additional large-scale studies, more clinical experience, and standardization of manipulation protocols. Key words: lipofilling, lipoaspirate, stem cells, stem cells derived from adipose tissue, mesenchymal stem cells, regenerative medicine, vulvar lichen sclerosus, vulvovaginal atrophy.
