Abstract

Analysis of the technical state of explosives that is kept on bases and arsenals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrates, that he does not answer the queries of war-time. The long-term chronic lack of budgetary facilities became reason of it for utilization of old and development of new types of explosives. In many of them already made off or the term of the use closes in the nearest years, that can result in unforeseeable consequences. Live ammunition after their making on the enterprises of industry and realization of different tests is mortgaged on storage on storages, bases and arsenals. A warranty expiration (ГСХ) during that safety of their technical descriptions and battle properties is provided date is thus appointed. In the process of storage control of the quality state and regulation works come true, including the repair of live ammunition, related to moving away of corrosion from the metallic details of corps, by replacement of greasing, and also repair of the wooden corking of and other. Experience of storage of live ammunition shows that their sensitiveness to external influences rises in course of time, that it is related to the change of properties of explosives (ВВ) that is equip live ammunition. If, for example, a written-off technique can be kept long enough and a practical damage from it is small, because a value presents mainly a scrap-metal and expenses on his storage small, then live ammunition can not be left without a reliable guard, organized fire-prevention service, checking of the quality state of live ammunition system etc. Maximal reduction of expiration of written-off live ammunition dates by their utilization can substantially decrease expenses and bring down storages. Thus, all the stated higher the negative aspects of maintenance of written-off live ammunition testify that simple elimination of written-off live ammunition is inadvisable, and in large scales - impermissible. Therefore in our country basic direction of decline of supplies of out-of-date live ammunition is their utilization and, mainly of the battle parts especially equipped by the large masses of ВВ.
