Abstract

The article is devoted to the history of Kyrgyz traditional outerwear - tone. The importance of the value that it acquired in the life of the nomadic people, as well as the manufacturing process and methods of painting. A classification of this kind of outerwear is given, related to the climatic features of the nomadic population, social status and work performed. It is shown how in the process of the development of society and the strengthening of ethno-cultural ties, there has been a change in the forms, methods of production, and methods of decorating this outer wear.
