For this purpose, this study dealt briefly with the establishing process of Shanghai Animation Film Studio which is the major producing unit of the animation at the time and the mission and expectation that the Chinese Communist Party assigned to the animation, and examined the situation that the animations, which later gained the honour of the fruit of China animation system in the process, were denied generally and no other way but to produce only a few works. Second, the study dealt with how the aesthetic principle of Yang Ban was concretely applied to the animation and how this had conflicted and harmonized with the aesthetic characteristic of the animation. Particularly this study made the premise that the core is Red among the Three Protruding, Red, Smooth and Luminescent, and High, Large and Comprehensive, which are the main aesthetic principles of Yang Ban, and took Red a important concept which embraces the color level and the ideology level and discussed how Red was realized in the animation. Third, this study asserted the animation description of the Cultural Revolution is the realization of the another Chinese style fairy tale. Even though the animation of the Cultural Revolution was produced for the particular purpose in the period of political upheaval, if we examine the description, we could find that it has the descriptive structure of the fairy tale, which is familiar to us with no exception. This study presented that, first of all, it has close relationship with the mystic faith, and there are many negative and skeptical elements at the outer world in fairy tales, the outer world in the animation has also many elements which stimulate interest and curiosity of children, and as most important factor, the study also presented that the animation gives the fantastic world same as a normal fairy tale.
