Abstract
The development of the domestic economy is closely interrelated with the level of competitiveness, sustainability of the development of the industrial sector of the economy. Sustainable development of industrial enterprises requires optimal conditions that ensure fair competition, as well as optimization of the tax and legislative system of the state. The article presents the importance of industrial production for the domestic economy, reveals the purpose and functions of sustainable development by an industrial enterprise.
