Abstract

The article discusses the powers of the central, local administration and citizens’ associations in relation to the management of forest areas. The system of sectoral central and territorial state authorities in the forest territories is also considered. The theoretical notion of “competence” of the state authorities is considered as the legal personality of state bodies, ie. as an opportunity for the state body to be empowered in specific powers.
