Abstract
The article analyzes the interests of the teenage audience, which actively uses YouTube, and identifies a number of trends. Teenagers have a consumer attitude towards YouTube. Nevertheless, some persons want to show themselves and start a personal channel. Videos in the form of a blog in which the chosen idol, blogger, opinion leader shows his life in an accessible format are especially attractive to adolescents. This format does not carry a serious semantic load; the videos do not raise significant questions and problems. The second trend is the demand for gameplay playback within YouTube video content. However, a YouTube visitor often replaces independent gameplay by his own person or his hero, to indifferently watching a similar game with a player-blogger. Since teenagers are in a borderline state between childhood and the beginning of an independent adult life, there should be parental participation in their lives in the form of control over the network life of adolescents.
