Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of Russian rock as a specific segment of national fiction. The method of semantic differential, widespread in psycholinguistics, contributed to the identification of the emotional-rational semantic dominant of rock texts of the turn of the 20th–21st centuries. The characterization of students’ perception results is motivated by the use of graded scales with bipolar antonymic adjectives.
