통일을 바라보는 두 개의 시선 :<봄날의 눈석이>, <남남북녀>, <나의 결혼원정기>를 중심으로

Abstract

분단국가라는 정체성을 갖고 있는 한국, 즉 남한과 북한은 각기 다른 분단관과 통일관을 갖고 있다. 것은 서로 다른 정치, 경제, 문화적 환경을 가지고 있는 상황과 상관없이 국가적 상처이자 염원이다. 분단이라는 상태로 인해 남한과 북한의 궁극적 목표는 항상 통일에 있어왔고, 이것은 여러 가지 형태로 투사되며 재현된다. 특히 영화는 남한과 북한이 서로 얼마나 다른 통일관을 갖고 있는지를 여실히 보여주는 대표적 매체이다. 본 논문에서는 북한 영화인 <봄날의 눈석이>와 남한 영화인 <남남북녀>, <나의 결혼원정기>를 중심으로, ‘공간’, ‘장애물’, ‘로맨틱한 장치’, ‘결혼’, ‘편견’ 이라는 키워드를 통해 남북한이 갖고 있는 통일관을 비교 분석한다. 로맨틱 코미디라는 장르 안에서, 결혼을 통해 통일을 꿈꾸는 이 영화들은 남북의 통일관을 엿보는데 적합한 텍스트라 할 수 있다. 이 과정을 통해 통일이라는 같은 지향점을 향한 남북의 동상이몽을 조망한다. Korea is a divided country, therefore South and North Korea have different views of division and unification. The state of division is national hurt and the unification is aspiration irrespective of different environment of politics, economy and culture. Unification has been national goal since Korea was divided, it represents for a variety forms. Especially films show the relationship and prejudices of South and North Korea. This thesis focus on representation of different views of unification of South and North Korea on <Thaw of Spring Day>, <Namnam Buknyeo> and <Wedding Campaign>. First one is the film of North Korea, and the others are films of South Korea. These are romantic comedy films, we could see the views of unification through marriage. And we would find out the unification in their own two different ways.
