Abstract

Statement of the problem. The article deals with the issues of preservation of local culture in the conditions of erasure of territorial and ethnic identity in the modern world. Local self-identification can be traced through the transfer of stable reflections typical for the territory on stimuli words. The present article was created as part of a study carried out with the support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research in the framework of a scientific project supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, project number 20-012-00492A “The study of the identity of the inhabitants of the territory in self-descriptions and reactions to verbal incentives”. The purpose of the article is to describe the reactions of Yenisei Siberia residents to verbal stimuli to determine the degree of awareness of their territorial, ethnic, and cultural identity. Research results. The paper presents an analysis of the spontaneous verbalized reflection of a resident of the village of Selivanikha (Turukhansky district) on the topics proposed by the researcher: the name of the locality, persons, events, ethnicity, etc. Conclusions. As a result, semantic categories of reflection texts are identified. They are significant for informants as residents of Yenisei Siberia and determine their territorial and ethnic identification.
