Abstract

The research aims to reveal specificity of the patriotism phenomenon in class and classless societies. Scientific novelty lies in a methodological analysis of universal character of the patriotism phenomenon as well as in anthropological and ontological comprehension of historical systems related to revealing an ontological basis of a socium consolidation. As a result, the author proves that a subject’s intra-system identity is determined by belonging to a class, but the patriotism phenomenon is typical of any cultural and historical unity (society) regardless of class essence. The patriotism phenomenon is an ontological universal manifesting itself in the process of a socium formation and development.
