Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide meaningful basic data for the promotion of teacher efficacy of child care teachers by grasping the relative influence of grit and flourishing that affect teacher efficacy of child care teachers. For this study, 209 child care teachers working at daycare centers in Chungcheongnam-do and Gyeonggi-do were surveyed, and multiple regression analysis was conducted using the results of the SPSS 22.0 program. The results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of examining the relationship among child care teachers' grit, flourishing, and teacher efficacy, it was found that there was a positively significant correlation with teacher efficacy. Second, as a result of examining the effect of child care teachers' grit on teacher efficacy, it was found that the higher the child care teacher's grit, the more positively it had on teacher efficacy. Third, it was found that the higher the flourishing of child care teachers, the positive effect on teacher efficacy. Through these results, it is meaningful that it provided meaningful basic data to understand the direction of the fundamental approach to increase teacher efficacy of child care teachers, which is a major factor influencing the quality of child care and affects child care activities.
