Abstract

The multidimensionality and variability of the concept of "creativity" necessitate an interdisciplinary methodology for analyzing the phenomenon of open integrity. This phenomenon is considered an archetypal invariant, encompassing the creator and the cultural texts created by them from a transdisciplinary philosophical standpoint. The philosophical-historical-cultural approach implies universal principles of the phenomenon, encompassing the personality, the process, and the result of creativity without rigid differentiation. We posit that its realization is possible within the context of psychoanalytic discourse on creativity, wherein the main discourse centers around the idea of the archetype as a cultural universe and the foundation for conceptions of the individual and creativity as an open integrity. In this article, we analyze the ambivalence of the archetype as a cultural universe and its role as the foundation for notions of a person’s creative activity.
