해외건설 경쟁력 평가모델 개발에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 글로벌 건설시장에서의 각 국가 기업들의 경쟁력을 비교할 수 있는 해외건설 경쟁력 지표의 수립과 평가에 관한 연구로써 매년 발표되는 Global-Insight, ENR, 통계청 등의 통계데이터를 기반으로 각 국가별 건설인프라 경쟁력과 기업별 건설역량지표를 토대로 해외건설 경쟁력을 평가하였다. 국가별 건설인프라 경쟁력 평가 결과 평가대상 22개 국가 중 미국 1위, 중국 2위, 일본 3위, 한국은 11위를 차지하였으며 국가별 건설기업 역량평가 결과 미국 1위, 이탈리아 2위, 중국 3위, 한국은 12위를 차지하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 2개의 지표에 가중치를 적용하여 국가별 글로벌 건설 경쟁력을 종합적으로 평가한 결과 평가대상 22개 국가 중 미국 1위, 중국 2위, 이탈리아 3위, 영국4위, 독일 5위로 나타났고, 한국은 9위를 차지하였다. 한국은 국가별 건설인프라 경쟁력(11위) 측면이 국가별 건설기업 역량평가(12위) 보다 약간 상위에 있는 것으로 도출되었으며, 특히 한국은 시장안정성(17위)과 설계경쟁력(19위) 측면에서 하위권으로 이 부분에 대한 개선노력이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다. The purpose of this study is to determine a national construction industry's competitiveness and establish strategies to expand into overseas construction markets. To evaluate the international competitiveness of overseas construction businesses, this study were selected as the target range of international comparisons among the countries cited by ENR, Global-Insight, IMF, OECD, and Transparency International. In result the United States ranked first, followed by China <TEX>$2^{nd}$</TEX>, Italy<TEX>$3^{rd}$</TEX>, U.K.<TEX>$4^{th}$</TEX>, and Germany <TEX>$5^{th}$</TEX>, while Korea ranked <TEX>$9^{th}$</TEX> overall. In particular, Korea's competitiveness in the construction infrastructures by country ranking(<TEX>$11^{th}$</TEX>) was higher than the competency assessment results of construction companies by country, therein ranking <TEX>$12^{th}$</TEX>. In addition, while Korea ranks <TEX>$12^{th}$</TEX> among 22 countries, <TEX>$3^{rd}$</TEX> in price competitiveness, <TEX>$12^{th}$</TEX> in construction competitiveness, and <TEX>$19^{th}$</TEX> in design competitiveness.
