Abstract
In article concepts of a bank deposit, a deposit is considered, the questions of features of the legal relationship arising from contracts of the bank account and a bank deposit are raised. The concept of deposit is considered for compliance with the concept of bank account. It is suggested to use the concepts of bank deposit and deposit as synonyms in the civil and banking legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and it is proposed to legislate the equivalent application of these concepts. The concept of deposit from the position of the system of compulsory deposit insurance of the Republic of Kazakhstan is considered. The concepts of deposit and guaranteed deposit are correlated.
