Abstract

The article considers social entrepreneurship as a new way of socio-economic activity which combines the social purpose of the organization with entrepreneurial innovation and sustainable selfrecoupment. It is based on the functioning of social enterprises created to address a particular social problem, operating on the basis of innovation, financial discipline and the order of business adopted in the private sector. Prospects and problems of social entrepreneurship development have been analyzed, which increases the overall economic efficiency, as it introduces economic waste into production and socially excluded population groups. The current state of social entrepreneurship in Ukraine in the context of state regulation has been studied.
