Abstract
In this paper, the optical path lengths(OPL) of ordinary and extraordinary waves in an uniaxial crystal were obtained in modified conoscopic holography, and the phase difference between the two waves was calculated using OPL. Using the complex hologram considering the phase difference, the intensity of light in the lateral and longitudinal directions of the reconstructed image was obtained by changing the size of the hologram and the uniaxial crystal, and wavelength. According to the Rayleigh criterion, the lateral and longitudinal resolutions of the reconstructed image are proportional to the size of the hologram and the uniaxial crystal, and are inversely proportional to the length of wavelength.
