Abstract
The article examines the prospects for tourism development in higher education insti-tution and the factors of young people motivation to participate in tourist activities. Students’ involvement in tourist activities should be based on creation of suitable and accessible con-ditions that will motivate students to be engaged in tourism. Examples of tourist events in which students of Udmurt State Agrarian University participate are given.
