Abstract

The article examines the basic principles of Bahá'í faith considering the prospects for the formation of global religion and global religious consciousness. Bahá'í faith is examined regarding two energy-informational streams in the structure of global religious consciousness - horizontal (social) and vertical (spiritual). The authors identify the peculiarities of Bahá'í faith in comparison with new religious movements and other orthodox religions. Bahá'í faith is interpreted as a form of religion, which opens the possibility for the synthesis of religious doctrines, formation of global religion, global religious consciousness.
