Abstract

The article describes the geological structure and composition of the Avlandya stratovolcano, composed of cover and intrusive volcanites of the Late Devonian - Early Carboniferous Kedonian series. The paleovolcano area corresponds to the Avlandya ore cluster. The sector block on the southwestern periphery of the paleovolcano is the Kubaka ore field, which contains the large Kubaka gold and silver deposit and a number of occurrences. Textural features, the composition of ores and native gold indicate that the Kubaka deposit belongs to the volcanogenic gold-silver formation. The geological criteria of the Kubaka's Middle Paleozoic age have been determined.
