Abstract

The article is devoted to the actual problem of quality management of higher professional education in Kazakhstan. The article analyzes the main trends in education management both in scientific and pedagogical literature and in international documents adopted by the European Community. The analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature on the quality of education, management of the quality of education are given. Based on the universal characteristics of the quality of education, the author's interpretation of the quality of higher professional education is proposed. The model of education management is substantiated, experimental work on the implementation of this model is described. Based on the analysis of regulatory documents, a system of quality criteria for higher professional education has been developed. The system of indicators and indexes of quality criteria of higher professional education is described. A system for monitoring the intra-university quality of education is proposed as an appropriate tool in the general management system. It is concluded that the methodology for managing the quality of higher professional education through a system of external and internal indicators of quality criteria is effective.
