Abstract

In order to understand the migration status of Family Hirundinidae in Heuksan-do(Island), Dadohaehaesang National Park, we analyzed daily count record from 2007 to 2022 at three study sites, Jin-ri, Baenanggimi and Ye-ri. As a result, the average FAD of Barn Swallows was 76.00 days (±6.73 days), and the average MAD was 115.67 days (±4.76 days). Barn Swallows showed a tendency for FAD to become faster as the March average temperature increased, but there was no significant difference. MAD became faster as the April average temperature increased, but it was not significant. The average FAD of Red-rumped Swallows was 97.07 days (±9.01 days), and the average MAD was 134.47 days (±9.05 days). The Red-rumped Swallows's FAD tended to arrive earlier as the April average temperature increased, but there was no significant difference. MAD also appeared to arrive earlier as the May average temperature increased, but it was not significant. The FAD of Barn Swallows and Red-rumped Swallows was found to have an average difference of about 21 days, and the MAD between the two species was found to have an average difference of about 19 days.
