Abstract

The article provides an express analysis of the state of legislative provision of life safety and civil defense management. The main research approaches to its study by Russian and Belarusian scientists are outlined, as well as the need to unify legislation within the framework of the Union State. The presence of inconsistencies, contradictions and gaps in the legislation of both republics is revealed. The necessity of updating the rule-making is justified, taking into account the experience of a special military operation in Ukraine.
