Abstract
Features of female crime and its differences from male crime are analyzed. The criminological characteristics of convicted women are presented. Gender features of crime and execution of punishment in relation to convicted women are studied. The causes and factors contributing to the emergence of penitentiary stress in women sentenced to imprisonment are considered.
