Abstract

Owing to recent technological developments and diversification of consumer needs, the need for small-scale distribution centers is increasing as the frequency of small batch shipments of various products increases. Therefore, in this study, a magnetic levitation logistics transportation system was designed considering the space efficiency and maintenance cost of a small distribution center. A basic characteristic analysis was performed using an FEM analysis, and the system was manufactured by predicting power and power consumption based on this. To verify the basic performance of the fabricated system, an experiment was conducted based on real-time position feedback control, and the results were analyzed.
