Abstract

The article considers the current state and development trends of the agricultural sector of Ukraine, which is closely linked to natural conditions, resources, technical capabilities and skilled professionals, is one of the main budget-generating areas of the economy and ranks second in the commodity structure of exports. Based on the analysis, the positive and negative factors influencing the development of the agricultural sector are identified; the resource potential and opportunities for further active development of the industry are assessed. The essence of the concept of agrologistics as an effective tool for improving the efficiency of agricultural enterprises, which will provide real opportunities for specialists and employees of the agricultural sector to focus on the organization of the appropriate level of logistics activities in agricultural enterprises, its effective implementation and further development. The activity of the domestic agrarian holding, which is engaged in the cultivation of grain crops (not including rice), legumes and oilseeds, is considered. The main problems of the logistics system of this agricultural enterprise by surveying employees for its efficiency and the presence of management problems are studied. The study identified a number of problems in the logistics system, including supply system failures, problems in information flow management, warehousing and storage of unused resources, difficulties in reverse logistics, which causes additional costs and reduces the efficiency of the holding. It is noted that the identified shortcomings and problems are the task of agro-logistics, which confirms the need and feasibility of its implementation in the activities of the agroholding to increase the efficiency of its logistics system and increase economic performance. This study emphasizes the need to use the basic principles and approaches of agrologistics in the production, processing, storage and transportation. Widespread use of agrologistics by domestic agricultural holdings will contribute to the formation of a successful agricultural policy of the country, which will strengthen their position domestically and internationally.
