Abstract

The study aims to analyze the influence of the leadership of the senior club director on the burnout of the workers and the mediating effect of empowerment and emotional labor. Data were collected from 296 employees of 24 senior clubs in Daejeon and Chungcheong provinces. Confirmatory factor analysis and bootstrap verification were conducted using SPSS/AMOS 18.0 to analyze the mediating effect. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the leadership of the senior club director had a positive effect on the burnout of the employees. It was analyzed that the leadership of the senior club director had a significant effect on the empowerment and emotional labor, and the empowerment and emotional labor had a significant effect on the burnout of the employees. In order to alleviate the burnout of senior club workers, it is necessary to improve the leadership of the director, and it is important to promote the empowerment of senior club workers and alleviate their emotional labor.
