Attention is focused on the results of investment impact on certain sectors of the economy, and which sectors require priority capital investments. The Index of Investment Attractiveness of our country and the problems affecting the formation of this Index have been analyzed. The directions of development of the investment climate in Ukraine during the war and in the post-war period have been highlighted. It has been found out about the creation of a unique electronic platform Advantage Ukraine for the purpose of attracting foreign investors to the Ukrainian economy, which collects more than 500 investment projects and opportunities in ten sectors of the economy. Among the possibilities that have been discussed are: the construction of "smart networks", the introduction of energy balancing capacities, gas extraction using advanced technologies, "green" metallurgy using direct recovery iron – these are things that can be implemented as a priority. The issue of guaranteeing the security of investments in war and post-war times remains the most painful issue today, which is one of the most restraining factors for investors. In addition, assumptions have been made about restoring the production potential of Ukraine's economy and creating a favorable business climate for attracting financial resources from abroad with the help of partner countries.
