Abstract
Modern process control systems include the collection and processing of information, which is currently considered a «prerequisite», since the collection and archiving of information allows to resolve non-standard situations or simply generate a report, which is convenient and sometimes necessary. The article discusses the data collection system, using the example of the MSD-200 data collection module of the OWEN production association, which is a domestic manufacturer of control and measuring devices and automation. The features of configuring the data collection module and possible ways to connect it are considered. The author shows that in relation to the existing laboratory of the Kazan National Research Technological University at the Department of Automated Information Collection and Processing Systems, there is a need to collect data, archive them with further processing. Using a laboratory stand for temperature measurement as an example, a data acquisition module was connected and a program for the controller was written in the CFC programming language in the CoDeSys programming environment, since in the future it is planned to equip the laboratory stand with a programmable logic controller. The MSD-200 is one of the best analogues from the Russian manufacturer due to its ease of configuration and a number of other characteristics such as high data exchange rate and price characteristics. The ability to connect it in three ways, its ability to act as a master, as a slave or work in spy mode, which significantly distinguishes it from its analogues and expands its capabilities. In addition, it has a high data transfer rate.
