Abstract

The research objective involves identification and analysis of primary (non-derived) temporal adverbs in the modern Khakass language. Scientific originality of the paper lies in the fact that the Khakass temporal adverbs have not been previously investigated. The conducted research allowed the author to trace etymology of temporal adverbs, to reveal their combinatorial peculiarities and word-formative potential. The analysed adverbs are characterized by morphological indivisibility and high compatibility with particles that impart additional shades of meaning to them.
