Abstract
The article is devoted to identifying assessment factors that influence the performance of government employees. The work proposes to use the “Business Competence Assessment” methodology, adapted to the specifics of the functions of civil servants. A comparative analysis of the average value of indicators for assessing the business and personal qualities of civil servants before and after the implementation of the arrangement and distribution of roles in the administration was carried out. The introduction of the methodology into practical activities made it possible to reduce the number of intra-organizational conflicts, reduce working time for determining the areas of responsibility of each employee, and minimize the risk of “burnout” and loss of interest in state and municipal service
