Abstract
The article is about 20 years of experience in solving the problem of safe treatment of LRW generated during repair and dismantlement of nuclear submarines, a key feature of which is the near-complete extraction of the most radiation hazardous radionuclides Cs-137, Со-60, Sr-90 at the first stages of the process using selective sorption while the bulk of the ballast salts contained in the LRW is not involved.
