Abstract

Purpose. The article describes a case of primary osteoma of the orbit. The peculiarities of this case are the absence of pronounced symptoms in case of a large neoplasm, the preservation of binocular vision with a sufficiently large displacement of the eyeball and the preservation of high visual functions, despite the compression of the eyeball, as well as the access and technical difficulties of surgical removal of the osteoma, which required the involvement of a hospital neurosurgeon.
