Abstract
The article notes favorable weather conditions in the Russian Federation for agricultural production. A comparative analysis of domestic and foreign food prices in the 4th quarter of 2023 is given. Producer prices and consumer prices for agricultural products are considered. There was a decrease in export prices for food on the world market during the year compared to 2022. The increase in Russia’s domestic purchasing and retail prices for meat in the 4th quarter of 2023 is analyzed.
